What Do You Think? (everyone has an opinion)
When you read my words, what do you think?
How would you describe me?
Because my words can be sad, people think that I am lonely.
If my words are complex, they say that I am difficult to understand.
And when my words are perplexing, others feel that I am “deep”.
When you read my words, what do you think?
At times I can be withdrawn, but I would not call me lonely.
I’d say that I am average, a little simple, a bit plain, but I would not say I’m difficult.
Sometimes I find myself plunging into an intellectual depth, but I am never too “deep”.
When you read my words, what do you think?
I write, constantly trying to purge the thoughts that fill my head.
When I put my pen to paper, do I go beyond the grasp of the ordinary?
Will I become an enigma of my time?
As my ink flows, it becomes evident that I can be, somewhat, profound.
When I read my words I think that I am not easily perceived.
When you read my words, what do you think?
